1. Screaming Frog Spider Tool
Run your website (big or small) through Screaming Frog for an overall on-page SEO perspective. When receiving a website audit, your site most likely get wrung through this tool as its spider will crawl all URLs, images, CSS & scripts and pull all on-page essentials. There are many filters which can be added, allowing you to see SEO deficiencies.
2. Google’s Keyword Tool
For keyword research, you almost always start with Google’s Keyword Tool. Google will provide lots of data on your keyword in 3 match types (broad, phrase & exact). Find our how many recent local monthly search have been made for your keyword… are you targeting the right one?
3. Google’s Webmaster Tools
Create an account, add and verify your website to receive specific data about your website. Learn things like how many impressions and clicks your site received as well as what keywords were queried that resulted in your site being displayed. Submit your XML sitemap to make it easier for Google to be aware of all the pages on your site and be notified of any errors that may exist.
